At the moment, 4 our field groups are working on a large-scale Vector IP project for ESAN Kazakhstan LLP. Key facts of the project: 1198 observation points, that is a huge amount of work!
Vector IP (VIP) is a reconnaissance version of the IP method, which allows you to quickly explore large areas, highlighting promising objects and sites for following up more detailed geological and geophysical investigations. During processing and interpreting the results of Vector IP, we use a number of innovative approaches, including 3D modeling. Creating of a geoelectric 3D model helps to improve the quality of the geological interpretation of VIP data. The depth of research is up to 1000 meters, with a target depth of up to 600 meters for analysis. We are proud of our work and confident that this project will lead geophysics to the next level!
